Would the club consider giving each member one or two overnight trips free of the 2-hour charge per day? I completely understand its purpose, but if some restrictions are imposed, one trip per person might not hurt revenue significantly. The measure might encourage longer trips whose legs are too long to fly consecutively.

I understand that the 2-hr per 24 block may inconvenience some pilots, but it is a matter of policy. This rule prevents people from scheudling for the entire weekend or longer and only flying a few hours. Remember, this is a club; therefore, there is a list of people that could by flying the aircraft while it is on the ground at your destination.

My suggestion to anyone considering a weekend trip, make arrangements to fly with friends, family, etc. at your destination. In this way, you can maximize your flight as well as ensure that you are not paying for flight time you did not fly.

You can always request a pardon of this matter to the board at a board meeting, but it is my honest opinion that this rule has been established for a reason.

Take care and blue skies!
